Washington D.C.

My family and I are fortunate enough to be spending the entire month of July in Washington D.C. with my dad, before he goes back to Bangkok for work. This past week we’ve been doing the usual touristy activities – visiting museums, monuments, and creeping outside The White House with the rest of the tourists. It’s extremely crowded this time of the year, so we’ve mostly been roaming the streets late at night. I prefer it that way, because there’s hardly anyone out and the monuments are stunning when they’re all lit up. As for the museums, so far we’ve only been to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, The United States Botanic Garden, and the National Geographic Museum which was my absolute favorite, considering that I’m a huge NatGeo junkie and a lot of my inspiration comes from the talented photographers that are apart of the National Geographic Photo Society.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from this week. Enjoy!

  1. Big jealous! Michelle and I were supposed to go in May and flights all got canceled for days. Loved the Oregon coast instead, but I am a nationals park geek and wanted the passport stamps from all the monuments!

    Great photos!!,
